This policy covers the Brass Tacks Media website and our internal "media uploader" application, which uses the YouTube Data API to upload videos to YouTube channels owned and operated by Brass Tacks Media.
The uploader is used only by Brass Tacks Media for its own channels. With the channel owner's OAuth consent it accesses: basic channel information and permission to upload and manage videos (scopes such as youtube.upload / youtube). We do not access data of other YouTube users.
Solely to publish and manage our own videos (titles, descriptions, thumbnails, privacy status). We do not sell, share or transfer Google user data to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted-at-rest on our private server with restricted access. Users can revoke access at any time via Google Account permissions; we delete stored tokens on request.
Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. By using YouTube features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
This static site sets no cookies of its own. Third-party sites we link to (YouTube, Etsy, Amazon) have their own privacy policies; Amazon may use cookies to attribute affiliate purchases.
